The XXV edition of the Brazilian Congress of Biomedical Engineering (CBEB 2016) happened from 17th to 20th October 2016, at Rafain Palace Hotel & Convention Center, in Foz do Iguaçu city, Paraná, Brazil. The conference has the tradition of congregating academic communities, researchers, scientists of several areas, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as representatives of industry, trade and governments, so that altogether can discuss and present their ideas on the main problems of the Biomedical Engineering field in the country. Our research group participated in the conference with two oral presentations (one about “A New Approach For Longitudinal Study Of White Matter Lesion Based On Texture Variation” and another about “Método Automático De Segmentação Dos Pulmões Em Imagens De CT Baseado Na Max-tree”) and with one poster presentation (this one about “Metodologia Para Seleção De Espectros De Interesse Em Espectroscopia Multi-voxel Por Ressonância Magnética”).
